Istabraq Painting - Unveiled at Punchestown

Artist Nicola Russell's painting of Istabraq was unveiled at Punchestown on Tuesday 3 May, 2011.

Istabraq, winner of three Champion Hurdles at Cheltenham, was voted Ireland's favourite racehorse of the past 25 years.

According to a report in 'The Irish Field',  there are plans to display the painting of Istabraq at the Irish National Stud and the National Gallery " if logistical concerns can be overcome".

"Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport and the Irish National Stud have been rumoured as possible (permanent) locations" for Nicola Russell's painting of Istabraq.

The Bulmers Live after-racing concerts at Leopardstown racecourse this summer will feature the following acts:

The Bulmers Summer Feast ticket costs €30 - which includes admission, a racecard, a bottle of Bulmers and optiuons from the Summer Feast Menu.

Each evening one racegoer, selected by Style Bitches (Laura Cunningham and Blanaid Hennessy),  will be presented with a €1,000 shopping package for House of Fraser "based on their contemporary, cool, after-work style".

The overall 'racegoer to rock fashion champion' will be crowned by Lottie Ryan on August 11 and will receive a prize trip to Paris,
including racing at Longchamp.
